Introduction | Have published poetry, short fiction and creative non-fiction. My days are filled with caring for dogs, my own and my rescued foster dogs. I mainly (though not exclusively) work with English Setters and have fallen completely in love with these crazy and adorable birddogs. I'm getting back to spinning and tapestry weaving, and am constantly knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting. I usually have several books going at the same time, and often listen to audio books while doing my textile work. |
Favorite Movies | No. 1 is definitely Master & Commander, and I hope we'll see a sequel. No. 2 is Legends of the Fall. |
Favorite Music | There isn't much music I don't like! Love Handle, Bach and Mozart, Artlo Guthrie, John McCutcheon, John Denver, and I think the finest songwriter of our age is Leonard Cohen. |
Favorite Books | The Patrick O'Brian Aubrey/Maturin series, anything by Thomas Wolfe or Faulkner. |
Why violence? I don't get it. If omeone doesn't agree with you, there are so many options besides violence, whether we are talking about two kids or two nations.
