Introduction | I have never done nor attempted to do anything of this magnitude in my life. I feel compelled to write this for the following reasons. 1) Love of New York State 2) Love of my country 3) The need to state my views. I am not a trained author. I am a construction worker and have been for some 27 years. I have witnessed, like so many others, the good and bad that has taken place in this state and country. I have been a member of the silent majority for too long. I am a member of the failed 1960's generation that has yet to follow through on their promises, ideas and ideals. I can be silent no longer. The words must be written and read. The sentiments I feel are felt by millions like me. The rage I feel inside me cannot be quelched. The only way to correct to misdirection of this state and country is to express how we feel. I hope after reading this others are compelled to join me in the fight. Here is my attempt to do so. I can only hope I do this justice. |
