| Introduction | Welcome to my world! Im Keren and I live on the beautiful Isle of Man, most famous for the T.T motorbike races, tailess cats, Mark Cavendish the cyclist, Horse drawn trams and the Three Legs of Mann ! I have on daughter who was born with learning difficulties and has just this year left home at the age of 26 and now lives independently with the help of the Supported Living network over here. It is an achievement which us as her family thought years ago might never happen, so this year has brought a whole different ball game to both our lives with big changes for us both as I have had my own issues over the years with which I have had to learn to find ways to cope with. . Our future starts with every thing we do and with each new day and no one knows what the future will bring so its best to grab it by the horns and just run with it! |
| Interests | Crafting whether with 'Hands- On' crafty products or digital creating. Social networking. Making friends, Helping at church activities such as our Messy Church event and Junior Church as well as Church Council. Enjoying watching my daughter spread her wings and become the young independent person she has become now .Reading, Baking Making my home environment a peaceful and calm place to live. |
| Favorite Movies | Afraid big fan of the rom-com and chick flick but also of the odd period dram type and meaningful. I absolutely love musicals so a lot of my favourite films are of that genre like for instance Grease, Singing in the Rain, West Side story amongst many many others. I also love old films from the 30'-50' era's |
| Favorite Music | Pretty much anything with a good tune to it. Don't like Heavy metal or Punk though, that is where I do draw the line. Having grown up within a very musical family, there was always some kind of music playing or someone singing in the background so grew up hearing many different genres of music and so that has filtered to to my tastes in music being pretty varied as well |
| Favorite Books | 'chick lit' ' self help, craft orientated, cookery, historical period novels, biographies, .gardening, books about different cultures and countries. |
