Welcome to Mrs. Orphanides' Senior Kindergarten Class!

About me

Introduction	I am from the United Kingdom and recently moved to Toronto, Canada. I am both a fully-qualified teacher in the UK and Ontario with OCT certification. I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. Upon graduating, I worked full-time as a Year 5 teacher in a three-form entry school in Derbyshire. I then decided to return to postgraduate education and completed a Masters of Arts degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Manchester under the HEFCE Scholarship programme. In and out of my studies I worked as a private tutor and as a primary occasional teacher across Greater Manchester, where I taught a range of subjects across the Nursery to Year 6 age range. I have been visiting Toronto for the past few years and I have been a volunteer in a range of schools across the GTA.
