| Introduction | I've been a Christian since I was 21, but as Bono puts it as well as other Christians I know, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". Turns out, that what we are looking for is God. But, we can't get all of Him until we get to heaven. So, what do we do in the meantime? We look for Him, talk to Him, run to Him and trust Him and know that what we think will bring us happiness is on the other side. I've spent most of my life thinking that if God would just give me this "good thing" then I would be happy. But, His thoughts are not my thoughts and His ways not my ways and one of us needs to change. And, I hate to admit it, but it's me. So, now that I know what to do, now I have to do it. This blog records my journey getting to know Him, learning to love and accept myself and possibly helping someone else who is on or needs to have a journey of their own. |
