| Introduction | I strive to develop a passion for God that translates into compassion for people. I want to help others do the same. My past life professionally was as an RN and I enjoyed the career thoroughly for 20 years until God called me into full-time ministry at Clovis Hills. I have been privileged to serve at Clovis Hills for the past 7 years and look forward to what God has planned for the future! When I'm not too busy I continue to pursue a Master's degree in Intercultural Mission at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary...it's a challenge I am thoroughly enjoying! If all goes as planned, I will graduate Spring of 2009...pray for me! |
| Interests | I love life and embrace the "carpe diem" attitude and seize each day for what it's worth which often means burning the candle at both ends...ah, yes, God is continually working on me! I enjoy a variety of activites: golfing, softball, hiking, playing board games, reading, watching DVD movies, going to the movies, theater, relaxing at a local book store with a good strong cup of french roast...doesn't get any better than that! :-) |
| Favorite movies | Countless and too numerous to mention all but I will note a few: It's a Wonderful Life, I am Sam, Casa Blanca, Gone with the Wind, When Harry Met Sally, A League of their Own, Forrest Gump, Facing the Giants. See, I told you there are a lot...I could go on... |
| Favorite music | I have a very ecclectic taste in music - ranges from contemporary Christian to old school R&B to today's country to some tried and true classical choices. What can I say?!? |
| Favorite books | I love to read many types of books as well. Recently I read Courageous Leadership and Lead Like Jesus...awesome stuff! I enjoyed the Grapes of Wrath many moons ago, Renovation of the Heart, Divine Conspiracy, The Way of the Heart. |
