| Introduction | I am the fun loving, creative mother of two teenaged daughters. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but lived in NC and Virginia since I was 17 years old. I attended Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. for undergraduate school and Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA for graduate school. I've worked at St. Augustine's College, Elizabeth City State University and North Carolina Central University. I worked in public radio for over 30 years and have just embarked on a new career on the education side of the isle. I love children and look forward to assisting in reforming the way we education children in the public school systems. |
