Introduction	Hey everyone! This is Brad Akers and my sorry excuse for a blog for the duration of my Peace Corps service in Madagascar. During college I started realize that I had an inclination for engineering that served the public welfare, particularly water-related stuff. Eventually it became clear that I wanted to work with developing countries, and the Master’s International program at the University of South Florida gave me a perfect venue for continuing education in graduate school and putting my inclination for international development to work with a bit of a safety net.
