| Introduction | I was born in a rural town in Pennsylvania, but grew up primarily in the deep South. I moved to Chicago in 1999, when I married Sean and became officially Irish. I graduated from Naropa University with an M.A. in Contemplative Education in July 2014 and am beginning a Ph.D. program in Transformative Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies in August 2015. Past jobs have included: academic adviser, teacher, lifeguard, cashier, camp counselor, Vice President of Operations, recruiter, insurance customer service representative, office manager, independent consultant, figure model, tutor, freelance copy writer, and department chair. |
