Introduction	I think up stories. Sometimes the pictures show it better. Sometimes the words tell it better. The pictures and words fuss with each other a lot.
Favorite books	I like artistically rich books, where there is so much art, it pulls you inside. My favorites are A Summertime Song by Irene Haas and Ben's Trumpet by Rachel Isadora. But then, I love Wave by Suzy Lee, which is just the opposite - spare paintings - lots of white space. Room to breathe, like the ocean.
