Introduction	I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy about 23 years ago (wow I'm getting old) I started using a wheelchair about 12 years ago; I now use a scooter. I've dealt with many hardships with this and in my personal life. But I have come a long way and learned alot about myself (as well as others) I've never wanted pity or special treatment; I'm just a normal person who happens to be disabled.
