| Introduction | A love for cats, crafts, and Washington State University inspires Crimson Cat Creations. Catherine, the crafter behind the name, has 20 years of photography experience including five years experience as a video camera operator in the news industry. The crafting side of Catherine started at the age of five when she started collecting rubber stamps. As a teenager, she commonly used embossing and using layering techniques on her cards. Catherine now makes all of her own birthday cards, thank you notes and Christmas cards. She also has interests in stained glass, photography and scrapbooking (though she does not plan on ever finishing a scrapbook). The additional inspiration of a two-year-old daughter and a computer engineer husband make for some geeky and silly creations. Now Catherine has started sewing and crocheting. When Catherine is not creating she enjoys doing anything with her family. Activities include watching movies, playing video games such as Rock Band and Peggle, playing boardgames with friends and enjoying a good wine. |
