| Introduction | I'm a Kindergarten Teacher that has come full circle in my weight and in my life. I've been here before and need to get back to a reasonable place. I want to walk by a mirror and think ,"Hey who's that person?" (In a good way.)I have two kids, 11 and 16, one very artistic and funny husband, 3 cats and a lot of laundry. This is a blog about my struggle to find weight loss in my own funny world as I see it. Teaching kindergarteners, my friends and family are a large part of this adventure and are often featured in my day to day operations. Underneath it all I am a serious person that doesn't take myself too seriously. Which should make my blog easy to follow if you have nothing better to do. You also won't have to decipher the underlying meaning of the world after reading this. In fact my only object is to amuse myself and those around me and make myself accountable for eating much more than I should. |
| Interests | The usual: art, kids, music,textiles, salt and pepper shakers, folk art books,bad animal paintings, paint by number paintings, people who are funny (they have to be funny to be my friend), walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, who doesn't like candlelight dinners?? Only kidding about some of this! Well the beaches and candle light dinners are a bit silly! |

| Favorite music | The same goes for music, who cares? I do have to sing a lot of songs like"Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar". It comes with the job description |
| Favorite books | Who doesn't like books? I'm a big fan of Updike and Joyce Carol Oates. How are those for cheery choices? |
