| Introduction | I was born on the 19th. of February which makes me a Pisces -- the 12th. sign of the Zodiac, which the sun enters. My birthstone is Amethyst. The place of my birth is Chittagong, Bangladesh. I am the oldest of 5 siblings. My father worked in the shipping industry and my mother was a school teacher. My father passed on in 1977 and my mother followed on January 3, 2005. I did most of my schooling in Bangladesh and in June 1986, I immigrated to Canada. I am fluent in Bengali (read, write & speak) including the various local dialects, Urdu, Hindi. I have an interesting and unique background. My father is a Sephardic Jew. My mother is Catholic of Portuguese descent. |
