| Introduction | I am happily semi-nomadic with my husband-best friend. Years spent exploring Alaska & the Rocky Mountains. 8 months circumnavigating Australia then New Zealand. Rented flats in Europe & tented America's red rock deserts. Recently, with a moment of grief, we sold our Land Rover in Africa. And in a moment of celebration, we bought a cattle ranch in Wyoming. Summers are sweat work on our sustainable grass-fed beef operation. Winters find us in our nomadic cloaks, seeking the fascinating stories of the world. Knitting fills some empty spaces, & wanderings inspire my sense of color & style ~ coyote greys & hummingbird iridescence ~ terra cotta sand & dusty sage ~ village brights & urban monochrome. Happiness! Knitting has created friendships. 3rd grade boys in Hawaii begged to learn my beanie skills. Women in South Africa exclaimed over my 'skwama su-phone' (cell phone bag).
