| Introduction | When I’m not in the classroom, I share my time with my two sons, Garren and Gabriel, and my husband, Stephen. We like to spend time outside, biking or hiking the local Metro Park trails, and exploring new things. I also like to write, bake and make candies, and study history. I particularly enjoy American and European history. Before I was married I lived in Minsk, Belarus, teaching English as a second language to 1st and 2nd grade students. I love Eastern Europe and had the privilege of returning there in the summer of 2013 to work with orphans and underprivileged children.
