| Introduction | A feminist organization in its ideology and its methods, Samvad intends to be a space of intense discussion and political intervention. We are committed to democratic processes and gender-sensitive policies. We are interested in taking up any issue related to gender and/or sexuality in this campus, ranging from sexual harassment to repressive administrative decisions. Samvad will organize cultural events, film screenings, academic discussions and sensitization campaigns each month, apart from working on issues that the participants of this university approach us with. While being firmly embedded in the university space, we also wish to express our solidarities and continuities with other ongoing struggles fought on multiple and intersecting axes of gender, sexuality, caste, class, identity. |
