About me

Introduction Lethal box jellyfish are a serious threat throughout South-East Asia. Children are especially vulnerable though the world's most venomous animal does not discriminate. This blog began following the tragic death of an 11-year old girl stung by a box jellyfish while on holiday with her family at Thailand's Koh Lanta in 2008. Making everyone aware of the risk and safe from harm is our only aim. So if you are visiting and intending on entering the sea in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam and anywhere else in the Indo-Pacific region, please read these posts as this is the habitat of jellyfish that can kill in just a few minutes.
