| Introduction | Jennifer lives and works at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. Her organization, D2R Sustainable Building and Design* provides a symbiotic relationship between individuals interested in designing and building sustainably, and the fulfillment of Dancing Rabbit's overarching mission of creating a sustainable village. A building designer by trade, Jennifer discovered the natural building movement in 2001, and has wed design and sustainability ever since. Applying holistic principles, Jennifer endeavors through D2R to create functional, beautiful buildings that enrich the lives of its users and create enhanced, aesthetic spaces for the village while simultaneously protecting the health of the planet. *D2R Sustainable Building and Design promotes sustainable architecture through practicum courses, internships, workshops, and publications teaching a variety of sustainable building techniques, including new experiential design and building practices, using a mix of locally available renewable and reused resources. |
