| Introduction | The origin of our family occurred summer 1999, at BYU. Jeremy & I met because Lora, my sister, invited me to go to their FHE’s Manti Pageant. Jeremy liked me right then and there. It took me a little longer. However, Jeremy was a true friend--the one guy friend that was always there for me whenever I needed him. He stuck it out for the long haul and it paid off. We married April 2002, after both of our graduations. Jeremy found a job in Southern California, so off we moved to LA. We enjoyed the sun-filled days of LA and both had successful careers, but we were ready to buy a home. Summer of 2005, we bought a house in Utah. We love our home and wonderful community. Boston joined our family through adoption on Valentine's Day of 2007. We love Boston's birth family so much; it has been rewarding to keep in contact with them via email and visits. Ashlynne was adopted on 11/12/09, two days after her birth. We love having her birth family close so we can visit often. Charlotte is our newest addition. She was adopted on 07/12/12. Having another birth family close to us here in Utah is another reason for our immeasurable gratitude. We feel more blessed than words can express. |
| Interests | Jeremy, Boston, and I love the outdoors. Boston is such a boy--loves dirt, exploring, and is curious about everything--so the outdoors is his favorite place. Boston enjoys riding in the backpack during hikes, and he also loves to play at the park--especially the swing sets. Our family enjoys Utah in all its changing weather. During the winter, we enjoy all the snow we receive at our high-altitude neighborhood. Jeremy regularly hikes come wind, snow, or shine. In the winter he snow shoes and in the summer he enjoys the rugged trails. I too enjoy all four seasons we receive here in Utah. The spring, summer, and fall are warm and beautifully colorful. The winters bring snow-shoveling exercise and nice, cozy, fireplace retreats (perfect for reading a great novel). Besides enjoying the weather in all its varieties, we keep busy with our family vacations to parks like Yellowstone, Arches, & Zion's. We're a happy, busy, normal, fun family! |
| Favorite movies | Jeremy's favorite movies are the Bourne Trilogy. My favorite movies are romantic comedies like--While You Were Sleeping; Ever After; You've Got Mail; I also love the dance movies like Center Stage and stuff. |
| Favorite music | Jeremy's favorite music is punk, which I like too so our car rides are usually good ones! |
| Favorite books | My favorite book list is growing rapidly but I love Jane Austin's wonderful classics. I also love Little Women; you can't go wrong with a great women's classic novel. Although I do love the women's classics there not the only books I love Good Earth is a great book along with East of Eden. Check out my link to goodreads.com to see by book reviews. Jeremy is as opposite as can be. He loves non-fiction historical books. Like war, army, or special-forces books. The more truth they protray the better in Jeremy's eyes. |
