Introduction	I am a mother to two beautiful girls, one can walk and the other can fly. Our daughter Maisie, was diagnosed at 19 weeks gestation with Trisomy 18, which is considered "not compatible with life." We were given the option to terminate the pregnancy, but we chose not to. Her heart stopped during labor at almost 36 weeks gestation on March 14th, 2010. I have learned a lot in life, but the most valuable lessons I learned were from her. Everything I do is because God chose me to be her mommy and I will feel forever blessed because of her tiny life.
