| Introduction | Merijn’s passion for yachts came at a very early age while sailing on the Dutch lakes with a 10m (32.8ft) sail boat of friends. As soon as he came in touch with the world of superyachts he knew that his future would be in this industry. Merijn studied Finance in The Netherlands. During his study he started his own company and launched www.Yacht-Images.com in February 2005. To strengthen his knowledge about the yacht industry Merijn choose the graduate on the issues of yacht registration and regulations for superyacht financer, Ciris Capital. After graduating and the success of www.Yacht-Images.com Merijn started to work on a new project, an online magazine. After only year online, www.SuperyachtTimes.com is already the leading online superyacht publication. |
