| Introduction | I have been fascinated for some time about the way our species slowly spread across the globe from our humble beginnings in Africa. What stories could be told of the adventures undertaken by those pushing out into the unknown. Then I looked at the Pacific Ocean. How did people find there way out there across vast areas of empty ocean? I began to research this subject and have decided to write about this little known story. It's a story that should be told: a real adventure. |
