| Introduction | This visual space is where I hang some of my work. Mostly, I write about personal experiences, people I have known, and books worth mentioning. From an early age, I aspired to be a writer. I wrote my first story in high school and gained confidence when my teacher picked it as the best one to read to the class. Since then and through writing snippets and chapters of my life, I found that digging down deep with a pen is marvelous therapy. Some of my stories have been published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch and the Goochland Gazette. From 2023 to 2026, I presided over the Richmond Chapter of The Virginia Writers Club, where I brought it from a comatose state to thriving and flourishing. It was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life, because of the wonderful people I met who happened to be writers. |
