| Interests | I am excited to be in my fourth year of teaching at The Maples Academy. It is through teaching that I have been able to help students excel and cultivate their interests through a range of methods including inquiry- based learning, hands on exploration, experimentation and technology. I think it is crucial for students to develop critical thinking skills and take ownership of their learning. One of the primary benefits of the IB Programme is to develop and promote these core skills. In my spare time, I enjoy reading fiction, particularly science fiction and completed The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell. I am looking forward to contributing towards the future of The Maples Academy, an outstanding IB World school. |
