| Introduction | ex-french horn player who’s into argentine tango, cycling, and spanish coffee
blog #1: “rändo adagio” (relaxed-pace randonneuring) the added umlaut is meant to encourage a pronunciation closer to “rondo,” which relates to my previous life as a musician. “Adagio” reflects my natural gait as a cyclist (relative to other cyclists), be it track, cyclocross, or randonneuring. It's ironic that the rondo form in music is generally known for its briskness. blog #2: “investigating spanish coffee in portland” My friend Amy and I started an exploration in 2009 to see if there was Spanish coffee life beyond Hubers in Portland. The short answer is “yes!” The long answer will be found in the various entries of this blog. |
