| Introduction | This is the area designated for me to come clean on who I am, why do I blog, what are my pet likes and dislikes (I dislike pets... but then that is another matter), and my idiosyncrasies, of which there are many -- from Kosha Mangsho to Katrina Kaif. For those who know me, the less said the better.As for those unsuspecting souls who don't,I am a journalist by profession, a human being by birth, and an observer of -- and a reluctant participant in -- life around me, by choice. I have been there, done that (a roundabout way of saying I have been around for forty three summers). This year I complete twenty years in journalism. Looking back, there have been a few scary moments, a few bad days, and even the odd bad month. Despite all the travails, I would not have swapped this life for any other. Over the next few days and months, and who knows, even years, I hope to share with you my opinions and experiences, not all of which, I have on good advice, should be shared in a public forum. |
