Introduction	My name is Kebrina Robinson and I am the creator of Parents United To Fight Autism (PUTFA). I am the mother of a 6 year old boy named Jay. My son developed normally and hit all of his milestones. He was jolly, sweet-natured, and very bright. Before his second birthday, he started losing his words and he became hyperactive and inattentive. Finally, he lost interest in his toys and withdrew socially from family and peers. Several evaluations later, a psychologist diagnosed Jay with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified (PDD NOS). After months of Applied Behavioral Analysis, occupational and speech therapies, Jay's attention span and learning ability changed dramatically. His vocabulary increased by 150 words, in the space of a year, and his ability retain information also increased. I have experienced first-hand, the effects of what seems like a one-sided war and I know that when we (parents and relatives) feel upset and stressed...A Friend is like a breath of Fresh Air. This is why I created this site...This is why I choose to fight for a cure...This is why I am fighting for my son!
