Introduction	Almost a certified ‘empty nester’ who loves to design, create and craft all sorts of things... I am not nearly as accomplished as the so many quilters I am inspired by every day. Mine is more ‘seat of the pants’ style. This means I get an idea and bring it to life. I have sewn overstuffed chairs for the floor (soft sculpture) in my teens, macramé when it was hot in the 70’s and 80’s, clothing, quilts, crochet and jewelry. Plus a lot of little stuff in-between. I refer to myself, at this stage, as McGyverGal. I can fix just about anything, or at least make it better within reason. I like to compare my style of creativity to cooking~ a Chef, a little of this, a little of that and Voila an awesome meal... As opposed to a Baker ~ measured ingredients, specific process and you have a wonderful pastry... I like to cook! Oh, and I had a career in telecommunications for about 25 years. But my greatest accomplishments are our 2 children ~ They are both awesome people. Donnalee CoutureCat
