Introduction	After living in Japan for more years than I like to count, I feel like I need to actively recapture my ability to manipulate the words of the English language and so I write. I write of my life in Japan, with my two kids, with my pathetic Japanese ability and with my in-laws who live four doors down. I write of the foreigner life and my search for small slices of familiarity. I choose to be here, but that doesn't mean that it is always easy. I love food, I love books, I love my family (here and there). I love clouds and flying and singing along with my music no matter how much I bother my neighbors.
