| Introduction | My name is Erin. I am a 20-something single mom with a passion for running. Some days I don't want to get out and run and on my off days, I'd rather be running! I've always been a "walker," but I became a runner around May of 2011. It is challenging, painful and rewarding all together. "Pain today, brag tomorrow." It's so true! I have an amazing 8-year-old son on the Autism spectrum. As a result, I work a lot with Autism Speaks, more specifically I'm a chair for Arkansas Walk Now For Autism Speaks. This is an annual walk that is held in Little Rock, AR to raise funds and awareness for Autism research. Seeing all of those families together, having fun and working for a cause is beyond rewarding! There's a lot more, but that's why I'm going to write! |
