| Interests | Walks in country & city, history - especially social, and UK railway related, Christian religious practice & expression - I'm a soldier of the Salvation Army, currently at Edinburgh Gorgie Corps, Singing - I'm one of their songsters, Genealogy, 'being there' for other people and representing their views as they require. |
| Favorite movies | I like comedies and period dramas, such as East is East, Local Hero, and Gosford Park. |
| Favorite music | The stuff that music shops usually call 'easy listening' - i.e. 60s & 70s charts; religious hymns & songs. But I also like silence - so you won't often witness me actually listening to music! |
| Favorite books | Various bits of the Bible - James, and some of the Psalms perhaps. I don't read a huge amount of contenporary stuff, though enjoy reading about places I've been, or factual railway history stuff. |
