Introduction	I'm a long time quilter. I grew up in the country on a farm North of Medicine Hat, AB. I have always enjoyed crafts from painting, rock mosaics, rock jewelry, needlepoint and cross-stitch. I fell in love with quilting when my children were small. I bought my first sewing machine on lay-a-way plan 25 years ago. I still love sewing with my Janome even after buying a new Brother l500S last year. I still live in the country; farming & ranching plus run a full time welding business with my husband of 32 years. My biggest problem is finding time to sew and finishing the projects that are on the go. With my daughter and son now gone from home, I turned the family room into a sewing room! A dream I have had for 20 years. I bought my daughter a Janome, just like mine a couple years back, when she expressed an interest in taking up quilting. She fell in love with quilting and is officially hooked too. To me she is a natural at it. Now we try to set aside a few weekends a year together and have a Mom & Daughter sewing fest. I love and look forward to spending the time with her.
