Introduction This is my sixth year as an Administrator and 17th year as an educator in the Sarasota County School District. Throughout the years, I have been a paraprofessional P.E. Aide, first grade teacher, reading teacher, mathematics teacher, resource teacher, behavior specialist, lead teacher, mentor, and member of the administrative support team. As a native of Sarasota, I have had the privilege of receiving an outstanding education through the Sarasota County public school system. Additionally, I have a Bachelors degree from Bethune-Cookman University, Masters of Education from Bowling Green State University, Education Specialist, and Doctor of Education from Argosy University. My passion is working with faculty and staff to improve reading achievement and close the achievement gap. I reside in Sarasota with my husband and two children; a son in high school and a daughter in elementary school.
