| Introduction | My story... For those of you that don't know me personally, I am 34, live in Southern California and a Director for a restaurant company. The details of my diagnosis: On August 24th 2011 I self-diagnosed by feeling a lump on the upper part of my left chest. A day later I was at my general physician from there were ultrasounds, mammograms and then last a biopsy. On September 14th I got the news that I had breast cancer. The details: +invasive ductual carcinoma with lobular features + stage 2a + grade III + Her-2/neu positive (level 3) + estrogen positive (level 1) Treatment Details: Chemo regimen is taxotere and carboplatin. 6 treatments over 18 weeks. Start date: October 4th, 2011, end date January 19th, 2012. After chemo a lumpectomy on February 9th, 2012. During surgery a DCIS stage 0 tumor was found and removed. Radiation began March 7th thru April 24th. Herceptin start date: October 4th, 2011 - end date September 11th, 2012. On February 15th I got the news that there is no evidence of disease.
