| Introduction | Megan lives here in Colorado Springs. She was born and raised on the east coast, moved out here at 24 and hasn't looked back! She is in LOVE with all that the beautiful state of Colorado has to offer. Sarah has been Megan's best friend since before they could walk. The two are closer than sisters. Sarah recently came out for a long summer vacation with Megan to Colorado Springs less than 3 weeks ago. Last Saturday June 23, the Waldo Canyon fire broke out in the Colorado Springs area. By Tuesday, Megan and Sarah were packing their things as best as they could and leaving the neighborhood as they watched the historic fire make it way over the ridge behind the Mountain Shadows neighborhood within a matter of minutes. Although their Colorado Adventure began a few weeks ago - this blog marks the beginning of their journey during Colorado's most destructive Forest Fire and their life following the evacuation. |
