| Introduction | William Mize graduated from the prestigious Creative Writing Program at San Francisco State University. His story "Super Heroes" won the San Francisco Bay Guardian Fiction Contest. His first novel, Resurrection Angel, was a finalist in the St Martin's Press Best First Novel Contest. In 2000, Resurrection Angel made publishing history as the first Print on Demand book ever to be nominated for a major mystery writing award, when it was nominated by the Private Eye Writers of America for the Shamus Award for Best First Novel of the Year. He currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida; where he is at work on the next novel in the planned twelve book series chronicling the lives of Denton Ward and Monty Crocetti. |
