Introduction	I came by the name of Longwind from my time in Alaska, where I am a tour guide for Princess Tours (now known as HAPA tours). I spend a good deal of my year in Alaska and what time I am home in Texas, I spend with my wonderful wife Sandy, son Jeremiah, daughter Rebekah and Yellow Lab Parker. I retired from Municipal Government in 2002 and began my employment with the cruise industry at that time. I have been fortunate to travel a great deal thanks to this relationship and my wife of 6 months, has accompanied me for the past 10 years. (We were engaged for 9 1/2 years). I am writing this blog to keep friends and others informed of my travels and adventures. I hope this will be a useful tool for everyone and the photos to go with the stories should help you to experience the adventure with me.
