| Introduction | Born when man first landed on the moon, 13 November 1969. Place of birth Edinburgh, capital of Scotland. Grew up in Alva from the age of 5. Attended Alva Primary 76-82, and then Alva Academy 82-88. Survived school, made it back to Edinburgh, studying Napier University of Edinburgh, 88-92. Dreamed of architecture, industrial design, photography graduated with a BSc in Computer Science, 92. On the dole for 9 months eventually a job was found with RBS, 93-96. Designing and developing MS Windows point of sales system for their financial advisers, then moving on as network engineer data and voice. Met a Japanese girl, in 92, moved to Tokyo as a consultant then back to banking, 96-06. Split up with the girl. Tokyo is a playground for adults, single on and off. Set up the fabled institute of fun and tribalism at Kami Meguro “The Chateau”. Then in 2006 Tokyo came to an end for me, had enough of the fast paced life. Moved back to Alva, to be with Mum and Dad, to think, and travel. In October 2007 set up a company with Greg to develop e commerce solutions. Back in Scotland, after 6 months in Singapore. Looking for work. My heart belongs to Scotland, not Asia any more. |

| Favorite Music | Deep Dish, Rolling Stones, Stones Roses, Primal Scream, Techno, Deep Trance, John Adams Progressive, Jazz, Classic, Brian Eno, Reggae, Dub (rockers!), Bush, Kate Bush getting into all these new guitar bands in the U-K. Is it new though? Just the same thing, no adventure, waiting for the tsunami of music to hit to wash it all away, and refresh. |
| Favorite Books | I love reading, have too many to mention. Used to read a book a minute, but these days have difficulty with finding the time. Which is a real shame :-( |
