| Introduction | I am in my seventh year as a Social Studies teacher at Alexander Central High School, which was also my alma mater. (Go Cougars!) In 2005, I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College, now University. Currently, I am pursuing my MA in Educational Technology from Appalachian State University. My husband and I dated in high school and on and off through college and on June 24, 2006 - the best day of my life - we were married! We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Emily who is 4 and Abby who is 1. They are my world - I love being their mom! |

| Favorite music | I have a really eclectic appetite for music - what I listen to most?...Christian contemporary, Country but I enjoy everything from bluegrass to oldies to classic rock. Not the biggest fan of music w/ language but I've made some exceptions in my ipod! |
| Favorite books | Right now I'm consumed with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Five Little Ladybugs, and such. I'll update when I have time to read for fun again! |
