Introduction	I am in my seventh year as a Social Studies teacher at Alexander Central High School, which was also my alma mater. (Go Cougars!) In 2005, I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College, now University. Currently, I am pursuing my MA in Educational Technology from Appalachian State University. My husband and I dated in high school and on and off through college and on June 24, 2006 - the best day of my life - we were married! We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Emily who is 4 and Abby who is 1. They are my world - I love being their mom!
Interests	Being a mom, slowly learning to love reading, spending time with my friends and traveling
Favorite Movies	Anything with Julia Roberts, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, classics like Coal Miners Daughter
Favorite Music	I have a really eclectic appetite for music - what I listen to most?...Christian contemporary, Country but I enjoy everything from bluegrass to oldies to classic rock. Not the biggest fan of music w/ language but I've made some exceptions in my ipod!
Favorite Books	Right now I'm consumed with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Five Little Ladybugs, and such. I'll update when I have time to read for fun again!
