Introduction	At the age of 40, I found myself unemployed for the first time in my life since taking a paper route in the sixth grade. Until last fall, I juggled a career, a household, volunteer work, two kids and husband. Minus the job, I found I have a lot of time on my hands and began looking for a new pursuit. I already enjoy flea marketing and scrapbooking as hobbies, but I wanted something new. That's when I found a book about becoming self-sustaining with only a quarter acre of property. Really? (Wheels turning) Just imagine then what I can do with two acres!
