Introduction	After a 25-year career as a TV news reporter and anchor, I traded in my passport to ask questions for a passport to travel when I made a mid-career shift to be the EVP for Global Communications and Public Affairs for Marriott International, the global hotel company with 3600 properties in 70 countries. My purpose is to share the rewards of travel that I've enjoyed in my life with the growing numbers of global travelers worldwide and to use the power of travel to make the world a better place. For me, conversation over a cup of coffee -- or my preference for a skim milk latte -- can be transformational, and that's what I hope to share in this blog.
