Introduction	I am a capable and dedicated actress whose work can be seen mostly on stage and in independent films. Additionally, I've written, directed, produced and starred in my indie films: DARK SEED and SAME OLE SAME OLE. Although I am now a New York citizen, I take much pride in being born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. I also received training and booked my first professional acting gig on the southside of Chicago at the lengendary Eta Creative Arts Foundation theater. Furthermore, I've acted for The Negro Ensemble Company, Shades of Truth, Modern-Day Griot , MPAACT theater and Congo Square theater. I've also been honored with nominations from Chicago's Black Theater Alliance for "BEST FEATURED ACTRESS" and "BEST ACTRESS IN AN EMSEMBLE". On the film scene, I've acted in the studio movie BARBERSHOP 2: BACK IN BUSINESS and in various dynamic indie films like STRINGS ATTACHED which was screened at the Rwandan film festival, Pan-African film festival,Cannes short corner film festival and Urban World.
