| Introduction | I was born with a ventricular septum defect. The doctors told my mother not to fret, that it was an auspicious condition to be "'fflicted" with. Since then, I've learned that Herschel Walker, Pablo Picasso (see http://www.chestjournal.org/cgi/reprint/61/2/116.pdf), and Pip from "Great Expectations" all "suffered" (like I can even call it that!) from VSD. I'm also missing a foot of small intestine. What are you "'fflicted" with? Let us know! |
