| Introduction | I commission photography and illustration for a living and thought it would be good to share some of the wonderful work I get sent daily to others who might appreciate it as much as I do! Sadly I can't commission everyone so maybe this helps to shine a brighter spotlight on the talented people I come across and meet. Also it's a good place to show work that I like and think inspiring, whether it's been used for a commercial purpose or created by pure artistic endeavour. It's also a bit of scrapbook /memory nudge for me when I need to quickly recall something great I've seen. I should add at this point that any work you see on this blog is the copyright of the artist who created it who I always credit. |

| Favorite books | Again so many to mention but these are the books I end up reading again and again: Peter Ackroyd's London The Biography, The Arts in Britain, A History by Roy Strong. I've also just read Potemkin and Catherine The Great by Simon Sebag Montefiore which was incredible. Fiction wise I love anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Zola and also The Historian by Elisabeth Kostova and Mr Phillips by John Lanchester. |
