| Introduction | Having worked in film for the past decade, actress turned writer, stylist and popular blogger, Tanya Dempsey is the co-creator of Secondhand Star. Tanya’s story chronicles the rise of a budding actress whose financial constraints led her to utilize vintage and thrift shopping as a means of staying current in fashion. Although no longer a struggling actress, Tanya has devoted her time as a fashion blogger to teaching her followers the true art of thrift store shopping. Tanya is currently appearing as a behind the scenes host for Belle Bene Productions and can be seen on Vh1’s premiere episode of the untitled, Audrina Patridge reality show. Former fashion designer turned makeup artist, Noa Bolozky is the other half of Secondhand Star. Formally educated as a fashion designer and with years of experience as a designer in-house and independently in both New York and in Los Angeles, Noa’s work in the fashion industry has morphed from a designer to a working makeup artist for film, TV and print. Noa currently works as a film and television makeup artist, and draws upon her time in the fashion industry to inform her skill set in making up celebrity talent for the industry. |
