| Introduction | I help women build muscle and gain strength on a partially or fully plant-based diet. I've been lifting weights since before it was cool for women to do so, and I switched to a (predominantly) plant-based diet in 2017. I competed in five bodybuilding competitions from 2018 to 2022; I learned first-hand that you can consume enough protein AND build muscle without eating meat. Benefits of strength training and building lean muscle can include boosting metabolism, slowing bone loss, improving insulin sensitivity, reducing risk of falls through better balance and more. There is nothing wrong with getting in some cardio, but it's time to make weight training a priority! I also provide guidance and coaching to women who want to gain lean body mass while eating more plant-based but aren't sure how to get started. No judgment for those not ready or interested in giving up animal products; I can build programs for those women, too! In addition to an M.S. in Exercise Physiology, I have 10+ years of leadership and coaching experience to help individuals achieve their fitness goals. |
