| Introduction | I am a wanna be genealogist. I have been interested in and working on my family's history since I was 17. However, my time over the years has been spent on raising my 8 children (almost done) and working in my church. The last 4 years a lot of my time has included starting and growing a scrapbooking company with my daughter, Shiloh, and my daughter-in-law, Susan. It's been more successful that we ever dreamed it would be and continues to take a lot of my time. However, I still dream of being a genealogist. So, whenever I can spare the time...this is what I do. It's what I love. I want to know who my ancestors are and I want my family to know them, too. I don't want to know just their names and dates, but I want to learn about and remember who they were, what they did during their turn on earth and what legacy they left behind for my family. That's the legacy I want to leave behind...the story of my family's history. |
