Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I dont wear a scarf unless my face is, or will undoubtedly be, cold. Otherwise, I find donning a scarf to be as frivolous as wearing a vest and a t-shirt. Is your torso really that much colder than your extremities? Doubt it.
