| Introduction | The Learning, Skills and Employment Network (LSEN) is one of the Thematic Networks within the overarching Community Network for Manchester (CN4M) which is the Community Empowerment Network for Manchester Over the past 5 years the Learning, Skills and Employment Network has been working with all agencies involved in delivering first steps and community development learning in order to capacity build the neighbourhood renewal process. The LSEN has always had a very wide membership and encourages any organisation that is involved in community based adult learning, be they from the public, private or community and voluntary sector – at present we have over 200 members organisations on our database which reaches across the whole of the City The LSEN is managed through an elected Executive Group of VCS members and operates, at present, 3 Task Groups focusing on the City Strategy, ESOL and Social Enterprise developments, with specific links to the City Strategy.
